About Zinoviy Gutkovich
MDDr. Zinoviy Gutkovich is an experienced, board-certified psychiatrist with more than two decades of clinical and leadership experience in psychiatry, including significant work with children and adolescents. He brings that depth of expertise to his clients at Therapy Center of New York (TCNY).
Dr. Gutkovich previously served as Unit Chief of Inpatient Adolescent Psychiatry at Westchester Medical Center and as Medical Director of Inpatient Child Psychiatry at SUNY Stony Brook Hospital. Over the past twenty years he has also been an Attending Psychiatrist at Jacobi Medical Center, St. Luke's Hospital (Mount Sinai) and Schneider Children's Hospital. He draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) alongside medication management, allowing him to tailor treatment to each client's developmental stage and goals.
His training includes a fellowship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, a residency at Beth Israel Medical Center, and a medical degree from Belarusian State Medical University. For families seeking a psychiatrist who is experienced across childhood, adolescence and adulthood—and who has led inpatient child and adolescent services—Dr. Gutkovich offers a reassuring combination of expertise and range. Care is available across New York in person and through secure telehealth.
