About Nina Greif
DODr. Nina Greif is a psychiatrist with deep expertise in treating mood and anxiety disorders—including bipolar disorder—and adult ADHD. Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with a focus on psychiatry, she brings a thoughtful, individualized approach to care at Therapy Center of New York (TCNY).
Before joining TCNY, Dr. Greif gained significant institutional experience with Northwell Health (Huntington Hospital) and the Pederson-Krag Center, working with clients across a range of presentations and acuity levels. She has a genuine passion for creative, in-depth and personalized therapy, and she believes in responding sensitively and effectively to people of all cultures, races, classes and religions—so that each client's inherent worth is recognized and affirmed. That commitment to culturally responsive care is an important part of how she builds trust with the people she treats.
At TCNY, Dr. Greif primarily provides medication management and works with adults 18 and older. Common areas of focus include ADHD, OCD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, panic attacks, and birth trauma and pregnancy-related issues. Her psychopharmacology expertise makes her well suited to clients seeking careful psychiatric evaluation and ongoing medication oversight, particularly for mood and anxiety conditions that benefit from consistent follow-up.
Her training includes a residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, and an undergraduate degree in biology (with an English minor) from SUNY Albany. Outside of her clinical career, she enjoys reading, singing and writing. Care is available to adults across New York in person and through secure telehealth, supporting consistent treatment. Prospective clients can contact the TCNY administrative team to confirm her current availability, the concerns she is accepting, and insurance and scheduling details.
