OUR STAFF

Mr. Gumbs is an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who has been providing inpatient care in hospital & institutional settings since 2009.

Over the past 15 years, Mr. Gumbs has developed expertise in the fields of nursing and psychiatry. He has worked as a registered nurse at the Brooklyn Hospital Center, NP (Internal Medicine) at Northshore University Hospital (Northwell), NP (Homecare) at Matrix Medical Network and as PMHNP at Care for the Homeless. He brings expertise in depression, anxiety and ADHD to his clients at Therapy Center of New York, with a focus on medication management and evidence-based practice.
