De Borrah Wright*
MD
Dr. De Borrah Wright is a board-certified psychiatrist and pediatrician who works with young adults (up to age ~30), children and adolescents. She provides compassionate care by utilizing her expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and evidence-based practice. Dr. Wright will begin providing services to TCNY clients in Autumn 2025.
Dr. Wright is currently the Medical Director of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Inpatient Services at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. She oversees multi-disciplinary team operations including treatment planning, staff training and quality improvement initiatives. Dr. Wright has also partnered with Medgar Evans College Preparatory School to promote preventive and holistic behavioral health care for students. She also has extensive prior experience as a pediatrician in Massachusetts, including as Consulting Medical Director for the Chicopee, MA public school district and as a pediatrician for Pediatrics Associates (Westfield, MA) and Sumner Pediatrics (Springfield, MA).
Dr. Wright completed her psychiatric residency at Augusta University Medical College in Georgia, and her pediatric residency at Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital. She offers comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, medication management and therapy for her clients.
